Ashitaba is a plant that is very rich in minerals and phytochemicals because it grows only on volcanic soil. The main locations where it has been able to grow so far are some volcanic islands in Japan, and the volcanic slopes of volcanoes in Indonesia.
Recommended dosage: 1 teaspoon mixed with 1 cup (200 ml) boiling hot water, to drink after a meal, morning, noon and night. For best results, take one teaspoon in the morning and evening in a small amount of juice, or mixed into a tea or sprinkled over salads and other foods.
Contraindications: Ashitaba has a sweet herb-like taste and has no known contraindications. Since Ashitaba is basically a super-vegetable, there are no contra-indications as to how much you can eat.
